It has been a while since I've updated! We've taken a bit of a break from major projects and are just enjoying having the house clean and not covered in dust. We had a fence post rot and we decided to hire a professional to come in and fix it. It was the main post to our drive through gate, so we figured it was worth it to spend the money and have a lifetime guarantee on the post.
Thomas was in an accident (not his fault), so he has been dealing with insurance and getting his car fixed.
We have been focusing on the outside a bit lately and are ready for spring. I love seeing all of the baby buds and signs that warmer weather is coming!
We have been getting quotes on insulation for the house. We are going to have a company come in and spray insulation before we get the house painted. It will be worth it in the end, but it's not a 'fun' thing to spend money on. Hopefully that will happen in the next couple weeks.
As for painting the house... We are getting quotes on that as well. It's just not a project we really want to deal with (soooo much scraping and prep!). I have been spending my spare time on Pinterest and scouring the internet with craftsman bungalow paint colors. I hope to be historically appropriate, but still get something that we both like. I am leaning towards red or blue with cream trim and black windows. Does anyone have any great resources for paint colors? I feel like it's such a big decision and it is stressing me out.
