Uneventful Spring

The past couple weeks have been pretty uneventful around the Bois Bungalow. We left town for four days to celebrate our best friend's upcoming wedding. The girls went to Whistler and the guys went to Kelowna, B.C. for the bachelor and bachelorette parties. We had a lot of fun! We have two weddings in June and will be headed up to Canada for those, so I have a feeling we won't be getting a lot done this month either.  We have been working on maintaining the yard, and just joined a gym... so a lot of our time is spent working out and trying to keep the yard up. We've been having an aphid problem with the roses, so I went out and dead-headed and hopefully we can curb the aphids eventually... We have 33 rose bushes on the property, so we have to get the problem under control. The roses along the picket fence are one of the very few things I love that the previous owner did.
