Thomas had his work camera the other day, so he decided to take some pictures of the house. Not too much has changed, but it's always nice to have high quality pictures.
The bathroom- we still want to replace the vanity, flooring, tub and surround. Still a lot of work left to do, but it's a good start. We replaced the toilet with a more efficient, dual flush toilet, the light fixture and the towel rack and toilet paper holder.
I absolutely love the color we chose for in here. It is Sherwin Williams' 'Morris Room Grey'. It doesn't look grey at all to me, but I think it looks great against the stark white of the beadboard.
We kept the beadboard that was in here, but put a chunkier top on it. I couldn't be happier with that decision. It was inexpensive and really gave the beadboard more character.
Here is a picture of the office. We moved around some furniture and moved in the dresser from Thomas' granny. It's beginning to get a bit crowded in there, so I'm thinking we are going to move some of the furniture upstairs.
The living room
The view from the living room into the dining room. We are really enjoying our new tv.
The dining room with our new table.
The new buffet. I love having a larger piece here to display whatever we want. It isn't really properly decorated yet... I just set some stuff on there. We are hoping to get rid of that tv sooner rather than later.
A new display case. As of now, it is holding a bunch of wedding memorabilia.
Well, I think that's it for now... But hopefully we will have some pictures soon of the finished stairs.

Our grandfather clock. I love it! We just need to contact the manufacturer to get a key to wind it.

Nice. It looks like you've got a good start on the paint stripping. =)
ReplyDeleteYes. We plan on working more on it this winter... I'm truly dreading it.
